党的十八届四中全会决定提出为实现全面推进依法治国的总体目标,必须坚持人民主体地位原则。在依法治国中坚持和体现人民主体地位,必须落实到立法、执法、司法、守法等法治工作的各个环节,从而保证人民主体地位的真正落实,使中国特色社会主义法治建设取得更好的效果。

The resolution of the 4th plenary session of 18 th CPC Central Committee rules that the general goal of the rule of our country by law should be comprehensively pursued and the principle of the status of people as main body be adhered to. Adhering to and embodying the status of people as main body in the course of ruling the country by law should be implemented in all the links,including legislation,law enforcement,judicature,obeying the law,thus fully guaranteeing the status of people as main body and the better results of the legal construction with China＇s characteristics.
