With the improvement of our country＇s national economy level and the strengthening of the ecological conservation consciousness, people pay more and more attention to water and soil conservation projects. And the design of retaining wall is very important for the soil and water conservation in North China. This paper emphatically introduces several types of retaining wall, and probes into their functions in soil and water conservation.
