Moisture management is one of the functional finish of textiles and apparel, especially used for sportswear fabrics. Current testing standards and corresponding methods are introduced in this pa- per, including water absorbability, hygroscopicity, moisture management, breathability and quick-drying, as well as the durability of these functional textiles and apparel. It is considered that the appropriate test- ing standard for moisture management textiles and apparel should be upon the end use.
