In this article,oil based adjuvants including petroleum oils,vegetable oils and their derivatives were introduced:their mode of action,verities and applications in herbicides.Oils and their derivatives derived from renewable natural materials have low acute toxicity,are biodegradable,and will economically replace current alkylphenol polyethoxylate adjuvants.
