In ancient times, wine played an important role in noble rituals. The book Symposium, written by great Greek philosopher Plato, describes a scene like this: Socrates and comedian Aristophanes took part in the party hold by poet Agathon, the very beverage they drank at the moment is wine. In Greece, people believed that drinking wine helped to relax and comfort injured souls.
