This paper, based on historical records, describes how the CPC-led anti-Japanese armed forces behind the en- emy lines treated the Japanese captives during the Anti-Japanese War. It expounds on the content, the evolution and the im- plementation of the CPC＇ s policy concerning Japanese captives, and proceeds to explain its power and influence by revealing the positive effects of the anti-war groups formed by Japanese captives. History has demonstrated that the captive policy adopt- ed by the CPC was correct and proper, and did play a significant and historical role in the War of Resistance against Japan.
