Causes and Measurements for the Clogging of Pressure Pipe of Lurgi Gasifier′s Ash Lock

The ash lock process of gasifier was introduced in the paper. The ash lock in continuous ash discharge process required high pressure steam stamping, resulting in the entraining by steam of ash into the ash lock pressure tube, and consequently the clogging of the pressure pipe, and affecting normal production. According to the actual situation of the device,the ash lock pressure point was shifted to the connection of steam pipe outlet and ash lock to avoid ash entering, so as to solve the problem.
