The Study of Fishery of Lingnan Region in Tang Dynasty

摘要 岭南地区毗邻大海,水系发达,丰富的水体为渔业的发展提供了较为优越的自然条件。唐代岭南地区淡水渔业和海洋渔业都有了一定发展,水产品种类繁多,且已进入市场出售。渔业生产技术比前代有了一定进步,在养殖和捕捞方面都总结出一些技术经验,加工手段也进一步多样化,丰富的渔业生产和加工技术从另一方面又促进了渔业的发展。唐代岭南地区的渔业以海洋渔业为重,生产方式上,海洋渔业以捕捞为主,而淡水渔业则捕捞与养殖并重。 Lingnan region, with the well-developed river system, is adjacent to the sea. The rich water resource of the region provides a superior natural condition for the development of the fishery. Freshwater fishery and marine fishery of Lingnan region have developed in Tang Dynasty, and various aquatic products had entered into the market for sale. Moreover, the technology for fishery production has made some progress than the previous generation in fish breeding and catching. The fishery processing method enriched either. On the other hand, the more matured fishery production and processing technology also promoted the development of fishery. The fishery of Lingnan region in Tang Dynasty mainly emphasizes on the marine fishery. As for the mode of production, marine fishery mainly stress catching, while the freshwater fishery focuses on both catching and breeding.
