Relationship between Confucian and Agriculture in Pre-Qin Period Seen from the Story “Fan Chi Wen Jia”

"樊迟请学稼"是《论语》中的一个故事章节,历来解读不一,若将此事置于农史学科视野审读,或可研判先秦时期儒家与农家之关系。从樊迟问稼之内容看,先秦农家有农官(农稷)之学、农技之学和农户之学三种流派。从樊迟问稼之对象看,孔子时代诸子百家自成派系,各有术业,专门化的知识体系已经形成并有了各自独立的发展,儒家与农家处于相互疏离的对等关系。从樊迟问稼之主体意图看,儒家弟子樊迟意在探索一条适宜于儒者的农业道路,即在儒家与农业之间寻求建立一种内在的必然联系。

＂Fan Chi Wen Jia＂is a story in The Analects and there are always different understandings about it. It will research and judge the relationship between Confucian and Agriculture in Pre-Qin period if read this story in the Agricultural History Subject. Judging from the details,Agriculture School in Pre-Qin period includes Agriculture officials,Agricultural Technology and Farmer. Judging from the objects,there are sects and specialties between the philosophers in Confucius era,while specialized knowledge has been formed and developed independently,and Confucian and Agriculture are peer relations in isolation from each other.Judging from the main intent,Fan Chi is going to explore an agriculture road applying to the Confucians,which is an inevitable and internal contact between Confucian and Agriculture.
