Ye City is the centre of Buddhism of North China in the 6th century, and the large number of Buddhist sculptures unearthed there have unique historical, scientific, and artistic value. The exploration made into the 3D reconstruction of Ye City Buddhist sculptures has provided valuable experience in the 3D photography of cuhural relics and the application of Agisoft Photoscan, and will prove to be a strong support to the collection and presentation of the comprehensive spatial information of Ye City Buddhist sculptures as well as the construction of a complete database. It is believed that 3D reconstruction will play an increasingly important role in the research of Ye City Buddhist sculptures.
