摘要
在过去几年中,我对自己翻译的十部英美文学名著进行了修订。概括而言,我的修订主要体现在以下四个方面:一、修正疏漏和误译;二、修订过于自由的译笔;三、消除对文化概念的归化处理;四、清除生硬拗口之痕迹。通过修订,使自己的旧译越上一个新台阶。
In the last few years, I have been trying to improve my Chinese versions of ten English Literary Classics, chiefly from the following four aspects： 1. correcting mistranslations, 2. seeking more precise modes of expression, 3. getting rid of ＂cultural falsehoods＂, 4. eliminating stiff and unnatural Chinese expressions.
