START翻译实训模式是一种以市场为导向的,由翻译教师、学生和职业译员共同参与翻译实训项目的教学模式。START翻译实训模式基于翻译工作坊平台,通过将参训学生置身于翻译工作情境(Situation),给学生布置真实的或模拟的翻译项目(Task),让学生模拟业内翻译流程开展项目翻译练习(Action),在规定的时间内合作完成项目的翻译任务,并提交翻译文本(Result),最终实现翻译实训目标(Target)。该模式有助于提高学生的翻译实践能力和团队合作意识,为他们今后从事职业翻译工作打下坚实基础。

START model of translation practical training is a market-oriented teaching model which is engaged by teachers, students and professional translators. This model is based on a translation workshop, in which teachers put students in an imitated translation working situation, assign real or imitated translation task to students, enable them to work together on the task and submit their final translations. Through these processes, the target of translation practical training is realized. This model can not only improve students＇ translation competence and teamwork awareness, but also lay a solid foundation for their future work as a translator.
