深圳河是香港和深圳的界河,改革开放初期深圳侧常有洪水泛滥,地形低洼加上城市开发不当是主要原因。因此,深港两地开启了深圳河治理工程。工程分四期,前三期已于2006年完成。工程规划经历了被动应付灾害到以高标准指导治河的过程。尽管深圳河治理标准基本达到50年一遇,经济与社会效益显著,但由于土地开发、环境保护和行政约束等原因,深圳河要达到50年以上的标准仍然困难重重,主动改造深圳湾是主要的途径。
Shenzhen River is the boundary river between Shenzhen and Hongkong, of which flooding frequently occurred on the side of Shenzhen with the main causations of the low - lying land and the improper urban development therein during the initial reform and opening period. Therefore, Shenzhen River Regulation Project was started by both Shenzhen and Hongkong with four stages and the previous three stages were completed in 2006. The engineering planning of the project experiences a process from passively dealing with disaster to guiding the river regulation with high standards. Though the standards for Shenzhen River regulation basically reaches to a return period of 50 years with significant economic and social benefit, it is quite difficult to get the standards above the return period of 50 years for the river due to the causations of land development, environment protection, administrative restriction, etc. , thus the active improvement of Shenzhen Bay is just the main approach.
