实施素质教育,就是全面贯彻党的教育方针,以提高国民素质为根本宗旨,以培养学生的创新精神和实践能力为重点,造就"有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律"的德智体美全面发展的社会主义事业建设者和接班人。要实施素质教育,作为职业学校的专业教师要热爱教师职业,掌握一定的教育教学理论和技能;注重师德修养,严于律己,为人师表;具备健康的心理素质;要有扎实的理论水平和实践能力;不断充实提高,与专业密切结合;要有创新意识和创造能力。

Carrying out quality education is the basic policy of our party. Its purpose is to cultivate the qualified builders and successors of the socialist cause with lofty ideals,moral integrity,good education,and a strong sense of discipline,well developed in moral ,intellectual ,physical ,aesthetics and labor education. For the purpose of improv-ing the national quality,we put great emphasis on the cultivation of students’innovative spirits and practice ability. To carry out quality education,professional teachers in vocational schools must love our job,master a proper amount of teaching theories and skills,focus on self-cultivation,self-discipline,and the modeling role,have good psychological qualities,and have innovative consciousness and creative ability.
