摘要
采用试题调查法,对在校大学生的汉译英水平进行实证研究。调查结果表明:在11个结构各异、标记性低且典型的汉语句式的翻译中,英语句式变异的数量与语言标记性特征有着密切的关系;句式变异特征受母语和目的语双重结构影响,为共同作用产物;同时,中介语句式变异也反映出学习者的过渡能力和习得顺序性的特点。因此认为,中介语句式变异是渐进性的,是学习者过渡能力的体现。
A test survey is adopted to empirically study the university students' abilities of translation from Chi- nese into English. The result shows that the number of variations of English sentence patterns, in the translation of 11 Chinese sentence patterns with distinct structures as well as low and typical markedness, is closely related to the markedness of language tures of both native and target The characteristic of variability in sentence patterns is affected by the dual struc- languages, which is the result of their mutual functions. And the variability in sen- tence patterns of interlanguage also reflects the learners' transitional abilities and sequential tendency of their ac- quisition. It is concluded that the variability in sentence patterns of interlanguage is progressive, displaying learners' transitional abilities.
