“双重篱下”的自由书写——钱歌川侨居美国期间散文创作略论

The Free Writing under the Double Fence——Preliminary Analysis on Qian Ge-chuan's Prose Creation during the Emigration in America

侨居美国的十八年,是钱歌川散文创作绵长生命的最后一个时期,创作随笔小品三百余篇,结集出版文集八部,占其全部散文作品总数的三分之一以上,形成了其散文创作的第四个高潮,在他散文创作历程中占有重要地位。然而人们对钱歌川这一时期的散文了解较少,更缺乏系统深入的研究。钱歌川这一时期的散文创作,在基本承续其散文小品一贯风格的同时,以更为自由的写作心态,任意走笔,在写作题材、文化态度、表现手法、文字风格等方面出现了一些新变,表现了其疏朗澄澈的人格智慧、贯通中西的深厚学养和深切的生命体验。不过也有一些知识小品存在直白枯燥堆砌知识的现象,流于抽象和冷硬枯燥。

Residing in the United States for eighteen years, this was Qian Ge-chuan＇ last period of the prose creation in his long life. He created essayistic papers more than 300 and published eigh collections of proses covering all his prose works more than 1/3. His prose achievement formed the fourth climax of the prose creation and occupied an important position in the period of the prose crea- tion. However, people know less about Qian Ge-chuan proses in the period and don＇t have no detailed study for his proses. During the period of Qian Gechuan＇s prose creation, on the one hand, he kept the style of his prose essay basically. On the other hand, Qian Ge-chuan created his prose works freely. There were some new changes in the aspects of writing theme, cultural attitude, performance ap- proach, writing style and so on. This showed his deep learning, lichtung clarity of the wisdom of per- sonality and the life experienc through Chinese and western culture. However, there are some phenom- enon of straightforward knowledge in his prose works, so some of his prose works becomes abstract, chill and boring.
