摘要
以聚乙烯醇(PVA)为打底液、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)为软单体、甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)和苯乙烯(St)为硬单体、过硫酸铵(APS)为引发剂、十二烷基磺酸钠(SDS)和烷基酚聚氧乙烯醚(OP-10)为乳化剂,合成了纸质文物保护用苯丙乳液施胶剂。研究结果表明:当m(OP-10)∶m(SDS)=1.3∶1.0或1.0∶1.3、乳化温度为50℃、乳化时间为0.5 h、m(软单体)∶m(硬单体)=1.0∶1.0、m(MMA)∶m(St)=2.0∶1.0、w(乳化剂)=1.6%、w(PVA)=4%(均相对于乳液质量而言)和w(固含量)=15%时,苯丙乳液施胶剂对纸张纤维进行加固后,明显提高了纸张的力学性能,有利于纸张的长久保存。
With polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as base fluid, butyl acrylate (BA) as soft monomer, methyl methacrylate(MMA) and styrene(St) as hard monomers, ammonium persulfate(APS) as initiator, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (OP-10) as emulsifiers, the styrene-acrylate emulsion sizing agent for protecting paper relic was synthesized. The research results showed that the styrene-acrylate emulsion sizing agent, which was used for reinforcing paper fiber, could obviously improve the mechanical properties of paper, that is conducive to preservation of paper for a long time when mass ratio of m(OP-10) :m(SDS) was 1.3:1.0 or 1.0: 1.3, emulsifying temperature and time were 50 ℃ and 0.5 h respectively, mass ratios of m (soft monomer) : m(hard monomer) and m(MMA) : re(St) were 1.0:1.0 and 2.0:1.0 respectively, mass fractions of emulsifier and PVA were 1.6% and 4% respectively in emulsion, and solid content was 15%.
