湖北省远安县国家级重点保护古生物化石资源特征及保护开发建议

Suggestion on Resource Characteristics and Protection Development of National Key Protected Paleontology Fossil in Yuanan County,Hubei Province

远安县古生物化石资源丰富,迄今为止列入国家重点保护的有湖北鳄目、鱼龙目、始鳍龙目等化石及陆相的两栖类宽头远安鲵、爬行动物芙蓉龙类化石。简要介绍远安县重点保护古生物化石资源的特征及分布情况,对其保护及资源潜力进行初步分析评价,提出借助产地重点保护古生物化石发展地质旅游,科学研究及科普建设等开发利用建议。

The paleontology fossil resources are abundant in Yuanan, national key protected animal fossils have been found , such as Order Hupehsuchia Young, Ichthyosauria Blainville, Eosauropterygia Rieppel and Yuanansuchus laticeps. The paper mainly discussed the characteristics and distribution range of national key protected animal fossils resources. And according to the distribution and occurrence of the fossil , the paper evaluates the resources potential in the area, proposes suggestion on the protection and development of the fossil.
