This paper analyzed the characteristics of modern smart home. It focuses on the analysis of Zig Bee technology and compares it with the advantages of other typical short-distance communication technologies. Use the Zigbee technology to realize communication within home,design and creates a integral remote control system for smart home furnishing equipment. The system has the characteristics of low energy dissipation,low cost,high extensibility and universal,and can meet the needs of modern intelligent home.
