The establishment of NSW Chinese Chamber of Commerce was an important symbol of the formation of the Chinese Merchants’business network in Australia.The tea import in 1917 was a test for the operating efficiency of this network.With the development and changes of the event,the NSW Chinese Chamber of Commerce had interactions frequently with Chinese merchants,the Chinese consulate and Australian government,which also confirmed the function of the Chamber of Commerce further and consolidated its core position in the Chinese merchants’network.
