The Historical Events and Outline of Liao After Qidan Clan in Fuxin Area

阜新位于西辽河与大凌河流域,这里优越的自然环境与丰厚的资源,成为契丹人游牧渔猎的重要场所,为其提供了广阔的生存、活动和发展空间。契丹建国后,一些契丹贵族就来到宜农宜牧的辽西北地区定居,其中包括后族萧氏。阜新地区成为他们的领地,在领地移民开发,创建头下军州,兴建城郭市肆,从事生产经营活动。把辽代阜新作为他们稳固的后方和战略基地而加以经略。阜新也就成了一些契丹后族的故乡,死后又归葬于此。时至今日,仍能够从其丰富的历史文化遗存中窥得当年繁盛的景象。兼容并蓄,展示了契丹文化多元的属性。

Fuxin is located in the area of West Liao River and Daling River. The favorable natural environment and rich resources provide an important place for the Qidan to hunt and fish, as well as a broad space for them to live and develop. After the establishment of Qidan, some Qidan nobility, including tribe descendants of the Queen Shaw came and settled in northwestern areas that are suitable for agriculture and animal husbandry. The region of Fuxin came into their territory for immigration, development,military foundation, and city construction. At that time, Fuxin had been a place as a solid rear and a strategic base. Therefore, Fuxin had turned into the hometown for some Qidan descendants, who buried here after death. Until now, the prosperous scene of that time still can be seen through its rich historical and cultural relics, which integrally demonstrates Qidan＇s culture diversity.
