This paper introduced the background of chemical environmental management, analyzed the main industries of chemical production and use in Shanxi Province, and the main problems in chemical environmental management, and put forward proposals of risk prevention and control from 6 aspects, which are optimizing industrial layout, enhanced policies and regulations,strengthening the supervision, promoting the hazardous chemicals registration, effective control of chemical pollutants emissions,and enhanced chemical risk prevention capacity building.
