Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region includes the city of Beijing, the city of Tianjin and Hebei province,a total of 13 cities, this region plays a leading role on the economic development in the Bohai rim region, the northern region and even the whole nation. In early 2014,the CPC central committee stressed several times that the Bohai rim region and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region economic collaboration must be strengthen,Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development is regarded as an important national development strategy, the coupling coordination development of new type urbanization and informatization in this region has become an essential content. Therefore,by constructing the comprehensive measure index system of the new type urbanization and informatization development, the grey correlation model is used to calculate the coupling coordination degree of new type of urbanization and informatization in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and then the temporal and spatial evolution law and mechanism of action of the coupling coordination degree are analyzed.Research conclusions are as followed:1)There are significant spatial differences of two system's coupling coordination degree,13 cities can be divided into 4types :coordination-type,running-in-type,low level coordination-type and antagonism-type.2)In the temporal aspect itshows obvious volatility and periodicity.3)The elements coupling action between two systems is complex:the development of urbanization is the supporting basis for the informatization, the informationization is the promotion of the new urbanization process.
