By tracing some special cultural relics,we can know that the cultural interaction along South China Sea in Stone Age lasted very long time. The interaction appeared sporadically in Paleolithic Age. There were interaction occasionally and indirectly in long distances in early Neolithic Age. Till Middle Neolithic Age,the interaction between adjacent areas in coastal areas of the mainland occurred frequently, and even across the Taiwan Strait. In late Neolithic Age,massive cultural diffusion arose. The southeast coastal area in China become center of cultural diffusion, and the culture spread successively from north to south by two lines of coast and islands, and then joined in the Indonesian islands. This cultural interaction, accompanied by a large number of people migration, produced a profound impact on later history and culture in this region.
