With the rapid development of mobile internet and cloud computing,China＇s big data era has come. Big data industry will completely subvert the traditional production and life,produce far- reaching effect on industry and departments in different fields. This paper first describes the background,connotation,characteristic and meaning of big data,then discusses the connotation,classification and application of big data to industry. It also analyzes the current situation,development,opportunity,and problems of Qujing＇s big data,and the policy measurement of Qujing＇s big data development was put forward as well.
