奥地利小说家卡夫卡,作为西方现代主义文学的奠基者,其在作品中塑造的荒诞框架下的细节真实深入人心,作品中始终弥漫着悖谬与怪诞以及神秘的气氛,因此也就形成了具有代表性的"卡夫卡式"特征。卡夫卡的短篇小说《饥饿的艺术家》中饥饿艺术家的形象与《圣经》中耶稣的形象共同具有一种受难式孤独的特征,他们都是在努力执着地追求着自己一生的事业,但是他们却在"路漫漫其修远兮,吾将上下而求索"中形成了迥然不同的结局。
