高校艺术类大学英语教学改革——以武夷学院为例

English Teaching Reform for Students of Fine Arts in Colleges and Universities——Taking Wuyi University for Example

高等院校艺术类专业学生普遍存在英语基础薄弱,英语学习兴趣低下,英语教材难度偏大,大学英语四六级考试成绩不理想等现象。为了改善这一现象,本文主要从教材内容、教学模式以及教学方法和策略三个方面对艺术类大学英语教学改革提出几点具体建议,并对武夷学院2013级动画、美术学、广播与电视编导、视觉传达等专业学生进行为期一年的教学改革,其效果显著。因此,望这几点建议能为同等院校的同仁们提供借鉴和参考。

There exists a quite common phenomenon on the students of fine arts in colleges and universities. They have a poor English foundation,low interest in English- learning,and do badly in the college English Test Band Four or Six. For the sake of improving this phenomenon,this essay puts forward several specific suggestions on the college English teaching reform mainly from the following three aspects,teaching contents and materials,teaching patterns as well as teaching methods and strategies.
