汇集来自于夏译《论语》、《孟子》、《十二国》、《烈女故事》、《新集慈孝记》、《贞观政要》、《正行集》、《经史杂抄》、《六韬》、《黄石公三略》、《孙子兵法》、《孔子和坛记》等汉文典籍的对音字,发现这些对音字反映几个问题:第一,西夏声母本无舌上音一类,只是为了模仿汉语韵书,勉强凑数而来,实则与正齿音无异;第二,同一个西夏字可以用不同声调的汉字进行对音;第三,频繁用于对音汉字的西夏字恰好位于索夫罗诺夫所说的大循环韵中。

However, there are some shortcomings of compiling thoughts embodied in The General Catalogue of Imperial Collection of Four, of which the omission of the lost works is the most obvious one.
