Maonan Region:The Maonans live in the northern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in South China.People from the same clan and sharing the same surname usually live together in small villages. Population:Around 107,000 Language:The Maonan language,which exists only in oral form,belongs to the ZhuangDong language group of the Han-Tibetan language family.
