Advances in genetic mechanisms behind the development of pituitary

摘要 垂体发育是一个极其复杂的过程,现已发现HESX1、LHX3、LHX4、PITX1、PITX2、SOX、PROP1及PIT1等基因突变会导致先天性垂体功能及形态异常。本文将就上述基因在垂体发育中作用的最新研究进展作一综述。 The development of pituitary is a complex process involving the interactions of multiple genes. In recent years, the mutations of HESX1, LHX3, LHX4, PITX1, PITX2, SOX, PROP1, and PIT1 have been confirmed in congenital pituitary diseases.
