As the pursuit of the ideal personality of Confucian culture,Hou-de（ accumulated virtues） and Jian-xing（ good practice） have profound philosophical implication. The university motto of Hou-de and Jian-xing reflects the tradition,idea and characteristics of running a university,agreement with the university culture and campus culture,and has a relatively high degree of recognition among the staff and students.
