England＇s overseas trade during Anglo-Saxon and Norman period was analyzed.It considers that,the trade was the continuation of certain business activities in Roman time,nevertheless,the church and royal family played their vital role in overseas trade in such period.Most of the overseas trade such as slave,cloth and wine were developed with the push from these two classes.The oversea trade in the Anglo-Saxon and Norman period also becomes a significant impact in the promotion of England＇s foreign trade after Norman Conquest.
