翻译规范视角下《庄子》英译探析

Analyzing English Version of Zhuangzi from the Perspective of Translation Norms

汪榕培英译版《庄子》具有很高的学术价值,受到学术界一致好评。图里的翻译规范理论是研究翻译的新视角,分为译前规范、首要规范和操作规范3个具体规范。通过对汪榕培英译《庄子》的翻译规范分析,探讨译本背后的翻译过程和社会文化因素,从而揭示翻译规范对于译本的影响,进一步阐明译本学术价值。

Zhuangzi,translated by Wang Rongpei,has significant academic value and is well accepted by academic circles.As a new perspective of translation studies,Toury's theory of translation norms can be divided into three parts:preliminary norms,initial norms and operational norms.This paper analyzes the translation norms of Zhuangzi by Wang Rongpei,and explores the translation process and social cultural factors so as to reveal the effect of translation norms on the translated version and demonstrate its academic value.
