干气密封在乙烯、丙烯轻烃泵上的应用

APPLICATION OF DRY GAS SEAL IN LIGHT HYDROCARBON PUMP

石化行业输送乙烯、丙烯等轻烃类介质的泵,密封型式多采用双端面机械密封。机械密封运行受介质、操作温度及操作压力影响较大。行业中轻烃泵机械密封易泄漏,维修量大,维修费用高。干气密封是一种非接触式密封,具有密封性能可靠、功耗小及维修量小等优点。就干气密封在轻烃泵上的应用,简要叙述了干气密封的基本原理及相关常识,介绍了轻烃泵的干气密封改造方案。对改造效果进行了评价及效益分析,为同类泵的干气密封改造提供了经验。

In petrochemical industry,most of the pumps carrying light hydrocarbons such as ethylene and propylene use double mechanical seal,which is largely influenced by medium,operation temperature and operation pressure. The mechanical seal applied in light hydrocarbon pump leaks easily, resulting in heavier maintenance workload and higher maintenance cost. Dry gas seal is a kind of noncontact seal,featured by reliable sealing performance,lower power consumption and smaller maintenance workload. In terms of the application of dry gas seal in light hydrocarbon pump,this paper briefly explains the basic principles and related common knowledge of dry gas seal, introduces the dry gas seal modification schemes for light hydrocarbon pump and performs the evaluation and benefit analysis of the modification effect, providing experiences for the dry gas seal modification of similar pumps.
