摘要
多模态话语中的转译是日常交际中很常见的一种现象。我国的大学英语教学通常以课本为基础,所以从大学英语课本到英语课堂教学的转译非常普遍。本文以系统功能语言学的社会符号学为理论基础,提出了研究多模态话语中的转译现象的理论框架,以从课本到课堂的转译为例,分析了转译的影响因素,转译在模态、媒介和意义三方面的转变及其效果,最后讨论了转译对我国大学英语教学的启示。
Translation in multimodal discourse is common in daily communication. As college English teaching is based on textbook in Chinese universities,translation from textbook to classroom teaching is widely used. Based on the theory of social semiotics originating from Systemic Functional Linguistics,the paper constructs a theoretical framework for studying translation in multimodal discourse; taking the translation from College English textbook to classroom teaching as an example,it analyzes the factors impacting translation,the changes and effects caused and produced by translation in terms of mode,medium and meaning,and also discusses the implications for college English teaching in Chinese universities.
