随着当代生活环境及疾病谱的变化,传统认识上的"肾虚证"已逐渐减少,而以湿热下注、湿热挟瘀、气滞血瘀、寒湿凝滞等证为多,治疗宜着眼于湿、热、痰、瘀及气郁诸因,并且还强调针药并用、积极预防、膳食调理和精神调摄。
