2015年9月15日，中央全面深化改革领导小组会议（以下简称会议）审议通过了《法官、检察官单独职务序列改革试点方案》和《法官、检察官丁资制度改革试点方案》。会议强调，要开展法官、检察官单独职务序列和工资制度改革试点，建立与法官、检察官单独职务序列设置办法相衔接、有别於其他公务员的丁资制度。
Implementing a separate post sequence is to separate judges and prosecutors from ordinary civil servants. By establishing a separate post sequence, front-line judges and prosecutors do not have to upgrade their administrative levels in order to gain a pay rise; they can do so by upgrading professional levels, as long as they work hard and deliver outstanding performance.
