Research Progress on The Effects of General Anesthesia Drugs on Learning and Memory Function

全身麻醉药作为一种能够抑制中枢神经系统功能的药物,能使意识、感觉和反射暂时消失,骨骼肌松弛,目前已广泛应用于医疗手术过程中。麻醉药物对学习记忆功能的影响日益受到重视,并已成为该领域的研究重点。本综述从神经元活动和功能完整性以及突触可塑性两方面探讨了常用全身麻醉药物对学习记忆功能的影响,分析了不同全身麻醉药物影响学习记忆功能的机理,并讨论了全麻药物对学习记忆功能影响的复杂性,为今后更好地使用全麻药物提供了一定的理论依据。

General anesthesia is a drug that can inhibit the function of the central nervous system. It can make consciousness, feeling and refl ection temporarily disappear as well as make skeletal muscle relaxation. At present, it has been widely used in medical treatment. The infl uence of anesthesia drugs on learning and memory function has been paid more and more attention, and it has become the focus of research in this fi eld. This review was about the effects of general anesthesia drugs on learning and memory by two aspects, one was the activity and function of the neurons, and the other one was the synaptic plasticity. The mechanism of the effects of different general anesthesia drugs on learning and memory were analyzed. And the complexity of the effect of general anesthesia drugs on learning and memory function were discussed. This review was to provide a theoretical basis for better use of general anesthesia drugs in the future.
