民国后期关于青年学子国文水平之讨论——以西南联大《国文月刊》为视角

Discussion on the Level of Chinese Language of Young Students in the Late Period of the Republic of China:A Case Study of The Chinese Monthly of the Southwest Associated University

《国文月刊》由民国时期西南联合大学师范学院国文系及文学院教师所创办。刊物刊发了一系列联大教师关于青年学子国文学业水平以及关于国文教学方面的文章,这些文章针对青年学子国文水平日益低落的现象及解决办法进行了相关讨论,从中体现出国文教师对学生学业水平最真切的忧思。在刊物中,国文教师们详细分析了青年学子国文学业水平下降的几类原因,进而提出了一系列具体的改进方案,如主张从学子更正观念、教师运用良法、选定合适教材、国家培养良师等途径入手,逐渐提升学生国文学业水平。

The Chinese Monthly was found by the Chinese Department of Teachers’ College of the Southwest Associated University. This publication published a series of articles by teachers of Southwest Associated University about the Chinese academic level of young students and the teaching of Chinese. These articles discussed the phenomenon of the declining learning of Chinese by young students and the solutions,which reflected the most sincere concern of Chinese teachers about students’ Chinese academic level. In these journals,Chinese teachers have analyzed in detail several reasons for the decline of young students’ Chinese academic level,and then put forward a series of specific improvement programs,such as advocating that students should correct their concepts,teachers should use good methods,select appropriate teaching materials,and the state should train good teachers to gradually improve students’ Chinese academic level.
