From Program to Action: Exploring the Characteristics of Russian CitizenPatriotism Education in the 21st Century

21世纪以来,俄罗斯已经连续颁布4个公民爱国主义教育的五年规划,重建并持续完善国家爱国主义教育新体系。俄罗斯从政策纲领到全民行动,具有传统价值观和时代特色的爱国主义教育从顶层设计逐步落实到公民的日常生活。多层次、多形式的爱国主义教育活动在俄罗斯全国范围内广泛开展,不仅使纪念卫国战争胜利、崇尚英雄主义、关爱老战士的传统得以弘扬,而且也成为集聚社会正能量、加强民族团结、推动经济发展、振兴俄罗斯民族精神的重要动力。

Since the 21st century, the Russian government has successively promulgated four five-year plans for citizen education in patriotism, rebuilding and continuously improving the new system of national patriotism education. From the policy program to the action of all the people, the patriotism education with traditional values and characteristics of the times has been gradually implemented from top-level design to the daily life of modern citizens. Multi-level and multi-form patriotic education activities have been carried out extensively throughout the country, they not only promote the tradition of commemorating the victory of the patriotic war, advocating heroism and caring for the veterans, but also become important driving force for gathering positive social energy, strengthening national unity, promoting economic development and revitalizing the Russian national spirit.
