This article discusses the questions about defeated and dispersed soldiers of'Western Army'during the war between the Song Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty,depending on'Literature on City of Heishui Hidden in Russia'.'Western Army'applied two different measures to dispose the defeated and dispersed soldiers:Forgiving some soldiers who gave themselves up and giving them an opportunity to defend their motherland;arresting some soldiers who refused to give in and punishing them by military laws.
