社会发展新形势迫切需要尽快将青年学作为独立学科来发展,加快青年学研究步伐,当前青年学学科发展过程中诸多问题还存在分歧,急须再认识,理清思路才能健步向前,学科发展应立足学科发展实际,青年学学科获取独立性发展前提是明确研究对象和研究主线,即青年人和青年发展。学科必须坚持马克思主义价值观方向为指引,坚持将"青年人"为中心的良性生态系统作为要务,坚持走跨学科交叉研究的发展路径,青年学学科起步之初,只有从多学科以及实证研究中获取营养,才能快速成长起来。

it is imperative under the new situation of social development that the youth study should be developed as an independent discipline as soon as possible and the youth study research should be made in an accelerated pace. Differences still exist in a lot of questions in the current development of youth study discipline, which urgently needs to be reassessed, for rapid development can only be made after the ideas are got into shape. The discipline development should base on its practice and the precondition for the youth study obtaining independent development lies in establishing the object and mainline of research, i.e. youth group and youth development. The discipline is required to stick to the guidance of Marxist values, keep the benign ecosystem of focusing on 'youth group' as top priority, and adhere to the development path of interdisciplinary and cross-over research. At the beginning stage, the youth study can only realize quick development by obtaining nourishment from multidisciplinary and practical research.
