The Epitaph Allusions in Tang Dynasty Collating

墓志作为一种特殊文体,往往大量使用成语典故,以与典雅凝重,婉转深沉的文风相一致。由于时间相隔较久,或出典隐晦,或石花干扰,造成对一些字形不易识别或识别错误,影响了对文献的正确阅读和准确理解。对近些年唐代墓志释文整理中出现的典故释读错误予以校勘,并举"牙琴"、"过隟"、"摽梅"、"循陔"典故等为例,分析墓志中典故释读出现错误的原因。

As a special literary style, epitaph often extensively uses a large number of idioms and allusions so that it can be in accordance with its elegant and dignified, euphemistical and deep styles of writing.Because of the longer time interval, or obscure source of allusions, or due to the interference of fossilization,some glyph are not easy to identify or can be recognized incorrectly, which affects the correct reading and accu-rate understanding of literature. This paper will collate the incorrect understandings of collating allusions fromepitaphs of the Tang dynasty in recent years. Also, taking Ya Qin,Guo Xi,Biao Mei and Xun Gai those allusionsin Chinese as examples, this paper will analyze reasons for the incorrect understanding of allusions in epitaphs.
