摘要
中美两国语言都有丰富的恭维语 ,它们起着问候、鼓励、致谢、开启话题及缓解矛盾等作用。比较中美恭维语在语言形式、应答、恭维目标几个方面的差异 ,指出跨文化交流中恭维和接受恭维造成误解的原因 。
Both Chinese and American abound in compliments,Which are applied to greet,thank,congratulate and encourage others,to open a conversation and erase confilcts etc.Probing the differences between Chinese and American compliments in a cross-cultural perspective and analyzing the course of misunderstanding are the key to successful cross-cultural communication.
