This paper statistically analyzes the main characteristics of the 171 goals in the 20 th World Cup Games, such as way of scoring, scoring area, and form of attack, etc. and finds： more goals are scored in this session than in any of the previous sessions; more goals are scored in the second half than in the first, especially in the last 15 minutes; foot shot is still the main goal; attacks starting from midfield make highest scoring rate; more goals are scored in 2nd area; forward strikers score the most; side entrance scores the highest rate;the scoring rate after more than 6 times passes complies with Hughes＇ Football Winning Formula theory.
