The Social Semiotic Metaphor Perspective Interpretation of Political Logo: Exploration Based on the 70thAnniversary Commemoration Logo

国务院颁布的"抗战胜利70周年纪念活动标识"蕴含丰富的政治、文化图像符号和文字符号,凸显出抗战胜利开启了中国"凤凰涅槃、浴火重生"新征程的重大历史意义及现实意义。基于社会符号隐喻视角从视觉语法和Wmatrix系统主题词隐喻功能等角度,可以对"抗战胜利70周年纪念活动标识"作出隐喻阐释。

The Commemoration Logo issued by the State Council of PRC contains plentiful image and text symbolizations of politics and culture, which reveal the significant historical and realistic meanings that the Chinese People＇ s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World War II has paved the new path for Chinese renewal. This paper complies with the direction spirit of President Xi Jinping and from the perspective of social semiotic metaphor studies the metaphor elaboration of logo for WWII commemoration by applying the picture visual design grammar and the metaphor function of key words of the software called Wmatrix.
