Plenty of researches at home and abroad have proved that family education has profound influence on children＇s psychological development. Recently, the TV play of Tiger Mother and Cat Father is on, which raises a discussion on Tiger Mother＇s strict education mode. The paper explores negative effects possibly derived from its education pattern on children＇s psychological development, and believes family education must follow the needs of children＇s individual psychology development instead of going to the extremes.
