Lightning is a strong atmospheric discharge phenomenon, which is a kind of natural disaster, threatening human＇s life and property safety. It has brought great loss to people＇s work and life. The problem of lightning protection has always been a major problem in electrical engineering. Along with the rapid development of modern electrical and information intelligence, the problem is becoming more and more important. This paper discussed design and construction of lightning protection and grounding for the light current engineering of the intelligent building, providing reference to builders and the technical personnel.
