智利是拉美地区高等教育发源较早的国家,拥有公、私立混合型的高等教育。随着高等教育数量与质量的矛盾日益凸显,为了保障高等教育的质量,智利政府在公立、私立大学中建立了院校认证制度。本文介绍了智利高等教育启动院校认证制度的背景,阐述了智利高等教育认证主体、标准、组织与实施过程;总结了智利高等教育院校认证制度的特点、成效、存在问题及发展方向。

Chile is the country of Latin America which started to develop higher education earlier, its higher education system falls into the public and private hybrid. In order to ensure the quality of higher education, the Chilean government established institutions voluntary accreditation system in the public and private colleges. The article introduces the background of college accreditation system in Chilean higher education, describes the Chilean higher education accreditation subject, standards, organization and implementation, summarizes accreditation characteristics, effectiveness, problems and development direction in higher education. It provides useful inspiration for promoting China＇ s institutions of higher education accreditation and quality guarantee system construction.
