摘要
剑麻(属龙舌兰科)是一种硬挺、粗糙、柔韧、光滑且富含光泽的叶纤维作物。与其他叶纤维相比,剑麻纤维吸湿性好、密度小且韧性好。从剑麻叶子中提取剑麻纤维有多种方法,最快速的提取方法之一是使用机械式剥皮机。提取纤维所采用的隔距(即刀片与固定击打棒的间距)对纤维性能有显著影响。因此进行隔距优化以改善纤维的性能非常必要。分别在482.6、558.8、660.4和863.6μm 4种不同的隔距下,采用机械式剥皮机提取剑麻纤维。并对所得纤维的线密度、拉伸性能及抗弯刚度进行测试。研究结果表明:当隔距为558.8μm时,所得纤维的性能较优。
Agave Americana is a leaf fiber which is strong,coarse,flexible,smooth and lustrous. These fibers are characterized by moisture absorbency,low-density and high tenacity in comparison with other leaf fibers.They can be extracted from leaves by several methods. One of the fastest methods of extraction is decortications,which is done by using mechanical decorticator. Gauge length( the distance between beating blade and stationary bar) at which fibers are extracted,has a significant effect on fiber properties. Hence it is essential to optimize the gauge length which gives better fiber properties. Agave Americana leaf fibers are extracted by using mechanical decorticator at 4 different gauge lengths viz. 482.6,558.8,660.4 and 863.6 μm.Extracted fibers were tested for linear density,tensile properties and flexural rigidity. It was found that fibers extracted at 558.8 μm gauge gives significantly better fiber properties than the others.
